On-site mural installation inspired by the 41 Cooper Building developed during a month residency at the Cooper Union. This futuristic structure is perhaps the most representative of the architectural utopian dreams in New York City. With the piece, I search for the "personality" of the building, reason why I also call this project "The Self of the Building". The mural expresses how I interact with this massive monument. Archived material developed by Thom Mayne, my own photographs, sketches, scale models that I assembled throughout my time there, and the help of the wonderful Cooper Union interns and friends, were the necessary elements I needed to sustain this project until the very end.
